Huron Hospital's Family Maternity Center has dedicated staff and the latest technology

The Family Maternity Center provides continuous 24-hour comprehensive care. An obstetrician, nurse midwife, neonatal nurse practitioner, and anesthesiologist are always on-site, to respond to any medical problems. Our experienced professional staff also addresses questions you have about the birthing process and infant care. Our staff feels privileged to share this most important event in your life, and provides the caring and supportive atmosphere you need.

 

Most births occur without complications, but in the event medical problems develop during labor, birth or immediately after birth, our experienced staff is able to provide immediate and expert care. The center is an Ohio Department of Health licensed Level I Nursery and Obstetrical Unit, so has a fully equipped surgical room and nursery with the latest state-of-the-art monitoring and surgical instruments.
