School of Diagnostic Imaging Radiologic Technology Program
Admission Requirements
The following college-level credit bearing coursework must be completed by February 1st to be considered for acceptance.
- Anatomy & Physiology with a "C" grade or better, completed within the last ten years. If the course is offered as a sequence, then the entire Anatomy & Physiology sequence must be completed.
- Algebra or higher level math with a "C" grade or better, completed within the last ten years.
- College Composition with a "C" grade or better or an equivalent course approved by the School of Diagnostic Imaging.
- Medical Terminology with a "C" grade or better.
- Sociology or Psychology with a "C" grade or better

Admission Process
The School of Diagnostic Imaging uses a selective process to determine which students will be accepted into the Radiology Program. Acceptance is based on a point system based on high school and College GPA, science and math classes with a "C" grade or better, and a behavior based interview.
To be considered for acceptance into the Radiology Program please be aware of the following steps:
- Complete the prerequisite college credit courses as indicated under Admission Requirements.
- Fill out the Radiography Program Application Form which can be downloaded from the link below or requested from the school.
- Send the Application Form to the Program Manager with the $20.00 acceptance fee.
- Send your official High School and College transcripts to the school.
- After submission of the above, we will contact you to complete a mandatory 16 hour observation at a Cleveland Clinic hospital.
- Deadline for application submission is February 1st each year.
- Behavior based interviews will be scheduled in February/March for applicants who have met the previous qualifications.
- Letters regarding program acceptance will be mailed out approximately one month after the interview process has been completed.
- The Radiography Program starts each year in the beginning of August.

Admissions
Individuals applying to the School of Diagnostic Imaging, Cleveland Clinic Health System shall:
- Possess a high school diploma or have earned a certificate of equivalent education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Have good eyesight either naturally or through correction.
- Possess the ability to hear instructions and respond to verbal requests by patient/ clients.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and possess the ability to support up to 125 pounds.
- Be able to move around and stand with hands free for long periods of time.
- Possess good verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
- Possess good communication and critical thinking skills.
- Have the ability to see printed words in a textbook and ability to read and accurately interpret numbers on a chart.
- Possess a moderate degree of dexterity and accuracy in the use of a computer.

Submit your completed form to the Program Manager with a non-refundable $20 application fee. Check or money order should be made payable to the School of Diagnostic Imaging, Cleveland Clinic.
