The diabetes educators at Huron Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, are committed to the concept of quality patient education. Our goal is to assist you in gaining confidence as you embark on this lifelong journey of health care.
Through Huron Hospital’s diabetes self-management program, you will learn how to:

- Care for personal needs
- Make smart decisions about medication
Managing Your Diabetes – You Can Do It! The diabetes educators at Huron Hospital created a workbook that each participant in the diabetes education program utilizes. Learn more about how our program can help get you started on the road to understanding diabetes.
Inpatient Diabetes Education services are provided by certified diabetes educators, nurses and dietitians, for your one-on-one individual needs.
Outpatient Diabetes Education services are provided on an individual basis, through group classes or a combination of both depending on your needs.
Registered Dietitians are available for personal one-on-one teaching of meal planning, diet modification and weight control.
