Pediatric Services

When should you begin looking for a pediatrician? Most experts say about six months into your pregnancy. If you don't already have someone in mind, ask your obstetrician. He or she is sure to know local pediatricians who are well respected. Also ask friends. Often they can refer you to pediatricians that have treated their own children. Gather as many names as you can and then set up interviews.

In addition to pediatrics, the Women and Children’s Center offers a full range of obstetrics and gynecology services staffed by an outstanding medical team of physicians, midwives, nurses and social workers. A nurse is available 24-hours to provide advice about urgent health concerns.
