In response to a growing need from the greater Cleveland community, Huron Hospital opened a new 3.5 million Level II Nursery and Obstetrical Unit in April of 2001.

 

 

The Level II Nursery and OB Unit includes: 6 birthing rooms, 1 operating room, a dedicated recovery area, 12 private postpartum rooms, 10-bed newborn nursery and a Level II nursery for infants requiring special care.

The new Level II Nursery and OB unit operates under the medical direction of John Erkins, M.D., Medical Director for Huron Hospital's Women and Women's Health Services and Chief of Staff, Pamela Redden, M.D. The Cleveland Clinic Foundation provides neonatology services.
